Peak District
The Peak District hosts a number of exciting events throughout the year. Local attractions such as the Heights of Abraham and Crich Tramway Museum host special events during the school holidays and the Chatsworth Estate a range of events throughout the year. There are also country fairs, food festivals, markets and Christmas themed evets to enjoy. Easter Adventure Quest
Join in the fun with an adventure quest at Bolsover Castle this Easter holiday. Crack the clues hidden around the grounds and enjoy a delicious chocolate reward!

Derbyshire Makers Spring Fair
Browse and shop a showcase of locally handmade products by over 20 talented local artisan makers, including homewares, interiors, gifts, jewellery and more, alongside live music.

Magical May
Springtime magic with the popular Fairy Trail. Meet the Fairy Queen and make a wish. You can make your own wand, and the family can make fairy dens in the wood and go to wizarding school.

Vintage Road & Rail Rally
The Vintage Road and Rail Event at Wirksworth Station features classic road transport from before 1986 including cars, lorries, buses and traction engines on display for a nostalgic trip to the past. Steam and diesel trains will be playing their part too making it a true vintage transport day out.

May Half Term Fun & Games
Challenge your family and friends to giant lawn games, bounce around on spacehoppers, and splash about in our sand and water pits. With plenty of hands-on activities in the beautiful grounds of Bolsover Castle, it’s the perfect way to enjoy fresh air and family fun!
